Description

To begin with, let me say that Rocket Espresso’s Macinatore Fausto is one of the best grinders in this price bracket. It has more features and is as good or better than the closest competitors in almost every regard.

It producer a very uniform grind with very little clumping. The grinder can produce a wide spectrum of coarseness – from filter to espresso – but it is first and foremost intended as an espresso grinder.

The stepless micrometrical adjustment makes it possible find that elusive sweet spot for perfect espresso. Another beneficial feature is that adjustment is made to the bottom burr, which means you won’t lose your grinder setting even when disassembling the burrs for cleaning.

The LCD-display and buttons on top of the doser are easy to use. Press the single cup button for one dose and the double cup button for two doses. By pressing both buttons at the same time you activate the continuous grinding.

Thanks to the 65 mm burrs the Fausto is precise, silent and quick. Grinding for a double shot of espresso (14-16 grams of coffee) is accomplished in about 8 seconds.

The large bean hopper has a stop-gate in the bottom for easy removal of the hopper.
