New grinder from Rocket Espresso

In order to achieve truly excellent espresso, where the coffee trickles out of the machine in a majestic seemingly impossibly thick flow of crema, you need to use a really good coffee grinder alongside the actual espresso machine.

Rocket Espresso Macinatore Fausto coffee grinder

It is therefore a real pleasure to introduce the new Macinatore Fausto coffee grinder from Rocket Espresso. According to the dictionary “fausto” is the Italian word for “happy” or “propitious” and can be used in expressions such as “a happy event” or “a good omen”. Macinatore simply means “grinder”.

In short, Fausto offers everything you need in order to get the most out of your espresso machine. Please have a look at this short video introduction:

The grinder is manufactured by Eureka, an Italian company that specializes in coffee grinders. From a technical standpoint the Fausto thus have similarities with the company’s own Zenith 65E. However, the Macinatore Fausto is completely designed by Rocket Espresso and is only sold under this brand.

The sense of quality you get the minute you take this grinder out of the box is hard to convey with pictures – it is a really solid and impressive machine in every regard!

Actually the overall size might be the only drawback of using this grinder in a home setting, it will likely not fit underneath the average kitchen cupboard. Currently there is not a smaller bean hopper available as an accessory but that may change in the future.

As an espresso grinder of professional calibre the Fausto is in no way unusually big though, and for the true espresso aficionado the end result (the actual beverage) is well worth the effort of making room for the machine in your kitchen.

According to Rocket Espresso they will continue to offer both their branded version of the Mazzer Mini E alongside the Macinatore Fausto for the time being. Both grinders are excellent additions to your espresso machine from Rocket Espresso or some other machine of similar quality.

Macinatore Fausto is currently in stock and can be ordered in Espressivo’s online shop.

With big changes like these there is always the slight possibility that something – despite thorough testing on our behalf – isn’t working as it should. If this is the case we apologize for the inconvenience in advance and will try to fix any issues encountered as soon as possible. If you find something that is not working properly on our new site we would very much like you to notify us about any issues encountered.

We are also looking forward to adding more content to the website in the near future, in the form of new products as well as various how-to guides.
